I bought a service agreement from Jacana Warranty when I bought my used car GPS. Over the course of one year, I had over $4,000 worth of repairs and never once did Jacana give me a hard time. These guys are fabulous. We had a problem with replacing a battery in my Omega watch. It was damaged in the replacement of the battery. They sent it off and repaired it completely with no questions. You, the customer, are the priority when it comes to your purchase. Your warranty works for you, whereas most warranty companies restricts the customer on how they can handle their claim. Not to mention, we have the most competitive rates in the industry.

I just made a new purchase. What is the longest time to purchase my warranty?

Depending on whether you bought a new item or a certified refurbished electronic item, will depend on the time. If your item is new, you have up to 60 days to purchase your warranty with us. If you have purchased a certified refurbished item, we require up to 30 days to purchase your warranty.

Does Jacana Warranty have restrictions on makes or models?

The great thing about our warranty plans is that we cover ALL makes and models for each category (just as long as your item has at least 90-day warranty for your new item or 30 days for refurbished). We wouldn’t want to restrict you to models.

What doesn't Jacana Warranty cover?

We don’t cover intentional damage, loss, or theft. This falls under an insurance plan and Jacana is more of a warranty service. More detailed information can be found in our Service Agreement.

What if i don't see a category for my item?

Jacana Warranty is constantly growing our coverage database. Don’t let that worry you, email us with your item and question to info@jacanawarranty.com.

Is it proof of purchase necessary for me to warranty my item?

Your receipt is the important piece of the puzzle. It validates your item, OEM warranty and accuracy of your product.

What if I can't find my receipt for my item? Can I still get covered?

There are ways to try to get proof of purchase of your item. You can contact the vendor that you purchased the item and ask them for a reprint of your receipt. You could also try to contact the manufacturer and they can look it up by the serial number or product ID.

If I have trouble filling the necessary options for purchase, what can I do?

When will my coverage start after i purchase my warranty?

For accidental plans, your warranty is in effect right away. Otherwise, depending on the term chosen, your warranty follows right after the manufacturer’s warranty. You can view the detailed specifications in your Service Agreement.

Do you cover refurbished items?

Yes. If you have purchased a certified refurbished item with at least a 30-day warranty, you’re covered.

Can I switch from my current extended warranty to Jacana Warranty?

Absolutely! The good news is that you can cancel your current extended warranty plan at any time.
